Skin and Self is today the result of more than 35 years of strong and constant work by Olga Florez, its owner. With over 16 years of experience in Colombia, Olga came to New York, USA, in search of new knowledge to complement her already extensive expertise.
In 2001, while treatments and post-operative care were not yet popular in the United States, Colombia was already an international benchmark in plastic and aesthetic surgeries, utilizing lymphatic drainage to enhance and maintain surgical results.
This is why, after just a couple of years and despite her short history in the American market, Olga managed to distinguish herself throughout Queens and its surroundings with her post-operative lymphatic drainage treatments, slimming, anti-cellulite, and facial body treatments. By 2003, she was able to open her own aesthetic center in White Plains, Westchester.
Olga Florez’s success put her on the radar of the county’s top surgeons, with doctors like Dr. Christian Guzman, Dr. Ronald Espinoza, Nicole Nemeth, and Vadim Pisarenko, among others, directly recommending her for post-surgical care for their patients.
